The SQL Monitor allows you to view, from a specific point in time, any application database operations. SQL Monitor is an add-in for FIBPlus applications. It will view any SQL operations which may occur in the database. SQL Monitor is useful for finding weak points in database applications, or as a supplementary tool in a system test of your application. You can configure what kind of operations to view: SQL commands of transactions, status of prepared statements, execution of a query. With some settings you can view commands from remote databases or even capture a screenshot of the application. Usage: SQL Monitor is designed to be easy to use. On top of FIBPlus (Version 2.x), there is a stand-alone application that can be launched from the menu bar or through a shortcut. The SQL Monitor can be closed at any time and reopened later. If it is launched at the same time as the application it is monitoring, the application will be hidden (it will not be visible on the left panel). But you can also set the Application/DB Monitor to be always visible. To open the SQL Monitor, you can either launch the add-in from the menu, or launch it through a shortcut: 1.
